Sony hurting PSP sales....kind of!!!!

Does anyone else think Sony hurt themselves by announcing a new PSP sku! Think about it they just recently released the God of War red pack and the new Madden blue pack! The colors make it tempting for a consumer to buy but with this new announcement of the new sku a consumer will not want to buy a inferior model just for a cool color! I think that they just screwed up and will not sell as many of these 2 great value packs as they could have if they didn't release this new model! It's true that they're crippling sales of new 2000 systems with this announcement, but there has been so much speculation about it that it was crippling sales regardless. No one wanted to buy a 2000 with the possibility of an amazing 3000 model. If anything, now that they've confirmed that it's nothing special, sales will resume normally.Sony hurting PSP sales....kind of!!!!
Are people really that eager to push off a couple months for a built in microphone?
They should have put more into the new PSP that users want and maybe it will be a top seller.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh! I understand now!
They should of added more. A built in microphone and a screen with less glare are cool but not enough to release a whole new model for. I stil have the phat and don't plan on changing ever.
i like how they are making new models, but some new games to go along with them would help out a lot

I doubt that the people working on hardware refresh would be off coding cool new games if they weren't working on new hardware designs, though...
