Splintercell essentials.....worth it?

Hey guys ive got a chance to pick up a copy of splintercell essentials cheap...........the problem is do i even want to pick up a copy? All the reviews say its terrible......has anyone here played it? If so whats your thoughts, the good the bad and the ugly of this game?! Thanks a bunch.Splintercell essentials.....worth it?
Look the game is not a peice of crap. for a PSP game its pretty good and fun to play the fisrt time around. the graphics are almost PS2.only problem is that the controls gets kinda annoying after a while but if you but your time in to it. it will grow on you. the games is worth playing on the go but only a once play through. after that you might want to get something eles.no extras in the game only for 3 mission you can unlock if you find the rigt codebut its a good game pick it up if its really cheap like 9.99 or so.Splintercell essentials.....worth it?
I bought Splinter Cell:Essentials, Rainbow 6: Vegas and GRAW2 at the same time and Splinter Cell is the best one. In fact I sold the other two and only kept SC. I have know idea why it gets negative reviews, I love it.
i LOVE that game. it was one of the first games that i got with my first psp a couple years ago and i gotta say i think i have outplayed it lol. i think i have beaten that game like 40 or so times now. great game worth the buy. if you liked the other ones you'll like this one despite some control adjustments.
Thanks for the replies guys...yeah i dont trust reviews all that much but they really dished this game so though better to ask some gamers, yeap well i recon i could get it for a $10er if im lucky so ill give it a go..........i really enjoyed the earlier ones, pandora tommorrow etc....is it a lengthy game or is it like rainbow six vegas which was to short imo.
its pretty lengthy it took me a while to get through it
