Is this a problem?

That tiny piece of plastic under the PSP's D-Pad is broken and..it's lost, and now when I use it, it just hurts my thumb and makes my PSP look ugly, I'm considering replacing my PSP for this, but when I think about it, I feel like I'm stupid, so I'm not exactly sure what am I supposed to do, I mean I havent had any problem with any game so far.Is this a problem?
Personally, if I had $200 to upgrade a PSP just because of a little plastic bit, I'd rather spend it on games for the PSP. Plus, there are clear cases you can put on your PSP so your thumb won't have to rub against the broken part. It's understandable that you'd want to fix it (this is why we cover our sexy electronics with ugly cases afterall), but I'd hold off until something bigger happens. Is this a problem?
I didn't I'll upgrade it right NOW, I don't have the money for the upgrade and even If I did, I'll spend it on the games that are out and I don't own.

Definately don't upgrade it now, but it could be a tipping point if you ever had a chance to get the PSP3000 or whatever the next one is when it may come out, which won't be for a while. But yeah, definately games first :3
